Location: Open to either fully REMOTE or HYBRID (Sacramento)

Skills: A minimum of 3 years dedicated Employment Law experience (defense is ideal but we're also open to plaintiffs' attorneys looking to make a switch to defense)

Salary: Base pay 160-200k for 1440 billable hours - salary can be negotiated up or down based on what billable hours you prefer. Package also includes bonus and benefits including 100% paid healthcare!

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will specialize in Employment Law and Civil Litigation, with a strong understanding of California Law. This role focuses on providing legal guidance and support to clients on various employment-related matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and representing clients in litigation.

Key Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and guidance on employment law issues to clients
Represent clients in civil litigation cases related to employment disputes
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
Manage complex litigation cases from inception to resolution
Advise clients on compliance with wage and hour laws, HR consulting, and employment regulations
Assist in investigations, audits, and employee management issues including terminations
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional client service
Collaborate with team members to strategize case approaches and solutions

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in California
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Employment Law and Civil Litigation
Strong understanding of California employment laws and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with strong writing and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Proactive approach to legal challenges and client needs
