Position Overview
The Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed cost estimates for multifamily and heavy commercial construction projects. This role involves collaboration with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely estimates that align with project goals and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure timely responses to stakeholders.
Collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information for estimating processes.
Conduct takeoffs from drawings and specifications to determine material and labor costs.
Assist in bid management processes and prepare bid proposals for potential projects.
Maintain a supplier directory for sourcing materials and services at competitive rates.
Oversee budget management for ongoing projects and ensure estimates align with financial objectives.
Support pre-construction activities by providing insights and cost analysis.

Qualifications

Proven experience with multifamily project estimating
Familiarity with pre-construction and bid management processes
Experience with budget management and cost control practices
Knowledge of supplier directory management and procurement strategies
Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore
Ability to perform accurate takeoffs and analyze project drawings and specifications
