A top contractor is working on an exciting $2 Billion Waste Water Treatment Plant Project in the Bay Area!

Located in Oakland, California, We specialize in complex industrial projects that include water and wastewater treatment plants, power generation facilities, and other complex industrial facilities. We generally self-perform all civil, structural, metal fabrication and installation, equipment erection, mechanical piping work, HVAC and odor control services. We manage hundreds of trade subcontractors on projects that provide specialty services. What You Will Be Doing

Work closely onsite with the Project Manager on the Waste Water Treatment Plant Project
Assists in the coordination and scheduling of project start-ups
Maintains contract document control; requests for information, clarifications, and submittals in writing, routing, and tracking.
Reviews and transmits all procurement submittals; writes requests for materials and equipment needed for the project.
Coordinates equipment/materials supplied by vendors with contract design and specifications.
Reviews project drawings and specifications

What You Need for this Position

Bachelor's Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
Strong Knowledge with water/wastewater treatment plant projects
Ability to review plans and specifications, schedule work, and analyze and accurately
Technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support the broad array of project types in our portfolio and how they interrelate with each other
