Title: Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for our Tolleson, AZ Production Plant.

  • Directly supervises and manages maintenance department personnel.
  • Investigates, analyze, plans, designs, and directs the execution of a wide variety of maintenance solutions to support safety, quality, and reliability of the facility's equipment.
  • Takes a leadership role in safety and continuous improvement.
  • Directs maintenance functions to assure the facility's infrastructure and equipment are kept in a safe, reliable condition with minimum unplanned production downtime.
  • Defines, promotes and manages lean projects in alignment with Management and facility maintenance targets.
  • Develop projects using Lean methodology in order to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Analyze results against plans and propose corrective actions while providing coaching and support to ensure successful implementation.
  • Coordinates the inspection, preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance of all facility mechanical, electrical, manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensures all maintenance department personnel adhere to all applicable department and facility safety policies, protocols and procedures. Provides short and long term direction and objectives assigned to maintenance staff.
  • Monitors the department employees and ensures competency by initiating training, coaching, counseling or discipline identified in the employee's performance.
  • Oversees the facility's preventive and predictive maintenance program to ensure effectiveness on minimizing unplanned downtime.
  • Maintain efficient, accurate and timely records and reports relating to all projects and equipment failures.
  • Develop specifications for production equipment, assist in the selection, purchase, and installation of equipment in the facility.
  • Oversees maintenance and manufacturing budgets to include labor cost.
  • Maintains facility, vendor, and repair maintenance manuals as regulated by state and federal government.
  • Enforces plant safety rules, housekeeping standards, quality and employee work practices in accordance with company polices and OSHA/FDA regulations. 
  • Follows all GMP, quality, and sanitation guidelines

    Competencies: 
  • Planning and Organizing: Demonstrates ability to plan and organize your own and direct reports work activities; analyze and disseminate numerical data; manage work time efficiently; follow procedures and policies; perform basic mathematical calculations, identify and solve problems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Always drives to improve skills including, but not limited to: manufacturing best-work-practices, Operation efficiency, Project Management, Technical, Internal Systems / Databases, etc. and the ability to adapt as production conditions warrant.
  • Collaborate and Coordinate: Demonstrates an ability to effectively collaborate and coordinate with other department personnel and internal support. This includes utilizing all WinCup resources at your disposal to effectively handle production issues and support.
  • Communication: Must possess excellent interpersonal communication, leadership, business writing, grammar and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills: Must be detail oriented, a team player and highly deadline driven.

    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology or Industrial Management preferred
  • Required minimum of 5 years' management experience in production manufacturing industry. Min. 5 years in maintenance management. Strong project management, technical knowledge in maintenance trades, equipment design and function required. Experience in foam, plastics, food and / or beverage manufacturing industry preferred.
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manual.
  • Must have advanced computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
