Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee our civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve project goals and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Ensure compliance with construction procedures, labor and industries regulations, and contract specifications.
- Facilitate effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Conduct risk management assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Review and approve project invoices and manage financial aspects of the projects.
- Oversee the bidding process and submittal process for project materials and services.
- Select and manage subcontractors, ensuring quality and compliance with contracts.
- Mentor and support team members in their professional development and project responsibilities.
- Maintain project records, including change orders, budgets, and timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- PMP Certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of risk management and budget management processes.
