FSQA Manager
Salary: Up to $120k + 10% bonus
Location/Schedule: Onsite daily in Rialto CA, Mon - Fri 1st shift 
Requirements: B.S. in Chemistry, Bio Chem, Food Science or similar + 5 years of Quality experience + leadership experience

As we continue our push to grow from a regional to national player, we understand that quality is more important than ever and we have a huge opportunity for a talented and well rounded QA leader to oversee a team of 6 as the QA Manager for our Rialto facility

What You Will Be Doing

Be a hands on floor leader of the Quality team (1 supervisor, 5 techs) across 3 shifts..

  • Ensure labeling and registrations compliance
  • Approve product formulas, standards, and documentation
  • Refine company's entire Quality Strategy
  • Ensure that all departments adhere to FDA, GMP, and HAACP regulations
  • Implement quality systems like SQF 3 for improvement
  • Lead continuous quality improvement and R&D initiatives
  • Conduct audits, manage investigations, and respond to complaints
  • Direct inspection and testing for materials and products
  • Collaborate with departments for new product launches
  • Maintain regulatory databases and document systems

 

What You Need for this Position

5+ years of Quality experience within the Food and Beverage industry including...

  • B.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, Bio Chem or similar
  • At least two years in a supervisory capacity
  • Broad exposure to all aspects of Quality (Food Safety, Regulations, Formulations, QA/QC)
  • Proven track record of implementing Quality programs within a growing organization
  • Strong understanding of HAACP, SQF and GMP regulations
