Title: Sr. Product Manager - Automotive Manufacturing
Location: Morgantown, PA 19543
Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 + Relocation
Founded in 1965 we are the #1 manufacturer of truck & van bodies in the US with over $1 billion in revenue as of 2023. We specialize in the manufacturing of dry freight, custom cargo, refrigerated truck & platform van bodies with 14 manufacturing facilities across the US. Our facility in Morgantown has the need for a strong Sr. Product Manager who would be responsible for product lifecycle planning & execution throughout the development process. You will lead cross functional teams while working closely w/ engineering, procurement, sales & marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
WE NEED AN ASSERTIVE, AGGRESSIVE, GO-GETTER FOR THIS ROLE WHO CAN DRIVE BUSINESS
1) Define product strategy & roadmap across multiple product segments
2) Manage the Long-Range Plan (All-New, Mid-Cycle Actions & Features)
3) Conduct market, product, feature & pricing research to inform decisions
4) Deliver Market Requirement Documents (MRD) & Product Requirement Documents (PRD) w/ prioritized features & corresponding customer / market justifications
5) Prepare key materials for governance review & approval
6) Work w/ engineering to ensure that all product objectives are delivered to approved targets during development phase
7) Identify partnerships & licensing opportunities to deliver new features & products
1) Bachelors in Engineering / Business related discipline
2) 5+ years as a Product Manager in manufacturing space
3) 3+ years of related professional experience w/I transportation industry
4) Prior success defining & launching innovative customer centric products
5) Advocate for voice of the customer, experience w/ Human Centered Design concepts & Design Thinking
6) Experience managing complex product road maps & product planning
7) Demonstrated experience managing gated product delivering processes
8) Advanced working knowledge of data systems (IHS, Wards, FTR, etc.)
9) Ability to travel up to 20% to various locations
