Candidate must have a LLM, JD or Masters in Taxation and have a minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience specializing Estate, Gift, Trust, Transfer and Business Interest (focus on HNWI tax), doing some prep and mostly review and a LOT of research & no signing off on returns.
Heavy FEDERAL returns, with a few state. No relationship management with outside clients.
Firm-wide resource for issues that come up with returns. High level reviews after tax season to determine deficiencies.

Candidate must be confident in his/her knowledge of tax issues and be able to work with minimal supervision.
Required skills include tax research, excellent communication, staff supervision and development, and acting as a Subject Matter Expert.
Heavy travel for the first few months to office from Sarasota to Naples to Fort Myers to Stuart to Boca, afterwards almost 100% Remote.
