We are a midsize pubic accounting firm that is located just outside of I-465 off I-69 on 96th Street. We are about 30 employees and growing. We offer Tax, Audit, Financial planning, and bookkeeping services for out clients. We have a wide variety of clients in the the private sector including numerous HNWIs, closely held businesses, corporate, and non-profit organizations. We offer a loose hybrid to fully remote schedule, although we prefer that local employees that can have an in office presence for major company events and major client meetings. We offer a welcoming, collaborative culture, with fast paced and challenging work while still promoting a healthy work life balance. We understand the public accounting industry can be a lot at times and want to ensure all of our employees are happy and ready attack work every day. We look to minimize busy season hours to the 50-55 hours range while keeping hours around 40 outside of busy season.
Our tax team is continually growing but we do not take on more clients than our staff can handle. We are currently turning away work as to not over work our employees. We offer strong benefits and a visible path to partnership from day one. We are looking for experienced managers that want to work to be the future leadership of the firm.
3+ years of experience in Public Tax and Accounting (individual, corporate, and partnerships).
- CPA or EA (preferred)
- Extensive Experience with staff in planning, performing, and completing Tax engagements.
- Develop professional relationships with clients.
- Passionate about developing associates and senior associates
- Expert in both tax return prep and review (especially individual and fiduciary)
- Experience in developing best practices, training, mentoring, and team project management
Benefits
Base Salary: $75,000-$110,000
