Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EI&C) discipline. This remote position is open to candidates residing in Texas. The role focuses on designing, analyzing, and integrating electrical systems for water and wastewater projects. This opportunity offers technical growth and collaboration within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Design and review electrical systems for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Conduct system analysis using tools like SKM and ETAP.
Use AutoCAD and Revit for drafting and modeling.
Work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and technical staff to deliver quality projects.
Review equipment submittals and address RFIs during the construction phase.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas, or ability to obtain one within six months.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical system modeling tools such as SKM and ETAP.
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, and related safety standards.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable Skills

Experience with industrial facility design, hazardous area classifications, and medium voltage underground design.
Knowledge of generator sizing, utility coordination, and service entrance design.
Familiarity with all phases of project development, from preliminary reports to project closeout.
