Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing expert legal counsel, and representing clients in various insurance defense matters. You will work closely with a team of experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional legal services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a variety of insurance defense cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex insurance defense issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense.
  • Must have experience with Trucking Cases
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
