Job Captain/Designer - DSA/K-12

Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Job Captain/Designer to join our team, specializing in DSA/K-12 projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of educational facilities, ensuring compliance with DSA standards while delivering innovative solutions that meet the needs of students and educators.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and documentation of K-12 educational facilities through all phases of project development.
Collaborate with project teams to create design concepts and solutions that align with client goals and DSA requirements.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Review and oversee the production of construction documents, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits to provide updates and gather feedback on project progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on K-12 educational facilities.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
Knowledge of DSA regulations and processes.
AIA and NCARB certification preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
