Law Firm Receptionist

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Law Firm Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the firm. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a friendly demeanor to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Schedule appointments for clients and maintain calendar for attorneys
  • Perform calendar maintenance by updating and managing schedules
  • Assist with e-filing of legal documents and ensure timely submission
  • Greet clients and visitors with a warm welcome and assist them as needed
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including correspondence and packages
  • Maintain an organized reception area and keep office supplies stocked
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a legal environment
  • Proficient in using office equipment and software, including e-filing systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
