Founded in the 90s, we are a nationwide services provider offering surveying, inspections, instrumentation and electrical work, often specializing in oil and gas industries.

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Land Surveyor in Iowa to join our team who has experience with pipelines and/or linear projects. The ideal candidate will be available for travel around IA as needed and will be responsible for conducting field surveys, managing data collection, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering precise mapping and survey data for various projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct field surveys for pipeline and linear projects.
Utilize geospatial analysis and GIS to enhance survey accuracy and efficiency.
Operate and maintain surveying equipment for data collection and analysis.
Prepare detailed maps and CAD drawings based on survey data.
Manage project timelines and deliverables to meet client expectations.
Ensure all surveying activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to support pipeline design and construction staking.
Perform topographic and boundary surveys as required for project documentation.
Implement best practices for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) surveys.

Qualifications

Licensed PLS in IA
Proven experience in surveying and data collection for O&G / pipeline / linear projects
Strong knowledge of geospatial analysis and GIS applications
Familiarity with CAD software and its application in surveying tasks
Experience in project management and coordinating multiple stakeholders
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards for surveying activities
Ability to perform field surveys and work in outdoor environments
