Title: Quality Assurance Manager - Food/Packaging
Location: Boonville, IN - Relocation Assistance Available
Salary: $80,000-$100,000/Year + Benefits & Bonus Structure

What You Will Be Doing
Develop and maintain food safety and quality programs.
Initiate and promote SQF programs and maintain SOP's for those programs.
Responsible for maintaining the hold log and dispositioning product in a timely manner.
Lead meetings and review sessions for Food Safety and Quality programs.
Prepare for regulatory, 3rd party, and customer audits and act as Primary point of Contact for all audits concerning wither the safety or quality of product.
Responsible for leading corrective action and counter measure meetings and determinations following the completion of each audit.
Responsible for facilitating the internal audit program from beginning to completion and communicating on-going work and completion to all members of the facility.
Work with other Quality Team Members to collect documentation from suppliers for the supplier approval program.
Responsible for traveling to and performing compliance audits of suppliers as needed.
Perform verifications of daily QA paperwork and in the legacy system.
Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry QA codes and standards.
Participate with management personnel in establishing procedures for testing ingredients, finished product, and ingredients.
What You Need for this Position
Bachelor's degree in a food science or microbiology field.
3+ years' experience of progressive growth in a technical field.
2+ years as a supervisor or Manager
Combination of equivalent Education and/or experience
Skills and Qualifications
SQF Certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire or promotion
HACCP Certification must be obtained within 2 months of hire or promotion
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to learn and adjust to various Legacy ERP systems in a timely manner
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will directly supervise members assigned as non-exempt members of the QA department.
