Location: Onsite in Bel-Air, CA

Salary: 90k-125k DOE

Position Overview
We are a school for gifted children and are looking for a School Nurse to join our team! We have a wonderful work / life balance as we have 5-6 weeks off per year in addition to our 3 weeks of PTO! We are seeking a School Nurse who will play a critical role in supporting the health and well-being of students, providing care and health education, and ensuring a safe school environment. This position is vital in promoting health awareness and addressing health-related issues among students.

Key Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions.
Conduct health assessments and screenings to monitor students' health.
Administer medications and manage health plans for students with special health care needs.
Educate students, staff, and families on health-related topics and promote healthy lifestyles.
Collaborate with teachers and parents to address health concerns and support student learning.
Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with health regulations and school policies.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified School Nurse (CSN). Will consider PA.
Current California license required
Experience in pediatric care or school nursing is a HUGE plus
Strong knowledge of health education and promotion
Ability to perform health assessments and develop care plans
