Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems, ensuring that they meet safety and regulatory standards while optimizing for cost and material efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop structural systems for various projects using CAD software.
Perform load calculations and stress analysis to ensure structural integrity.
Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate structural designs with overall project goals.
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations throughout the design process.
Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide technical support during construction.
Utilize 3D modeling techniques to visualize and present designs to clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in related field.
Proven experience as a Structural Designer or similar role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, or Microstation preferred
Structural design experience in the oil & gas or power generation industry
Strong understanding of construction materials and their properties.
Familiarity with load calculations and building codes.
Experience in stress analysis and design engineering principles.
Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
