Tax Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to oversee our tax preparation and compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax regulations and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of tax filings and advising clients on tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation of federal and state tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S forms.
Review and analyze tax returns prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Develop tax strategies and provide guidance to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Stay updated on tax law changes and implement necessary adjustments to tax practices.
Assist in tax audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
Train and mentor junior staff on tax compliance and preparation processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance.
Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
