Metrology Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metrology Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of measurements in our manufacturing processes. This role involves developing measurement techniques, performing calibrations, and working closely with various engineering teams to support quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement measurement techniques to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
Perform calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment and tools.
Collaborate with quality engineers to analyze measurement data and drive improvements in quality tooling and fixtures.
Design and evaluate gauges and other measurement instruments to meet production requirements.
Conduct metrology-related training for team members to enhance measurement capabilities across departments.
Troubleshoot measurement-related issues and recommend solutions to enhance precision and accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Metrology Engineer or similar role, with a strong understanding of measurement principles and practices.
Proficiency in calibration processes and metrology tools such as gauges and fixtures.
Experience with quality assurance methodologies and standards.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
Familiarity with design processes and quality engineering principles in a manufacturing environment.
